Scherf Farms Lamb

We only sell lamb raised on our farm in Michigan City,
Indiana. This guarantees the source of your lamb and the
quality of life of the animal.Our sheep are raised in limited
numbers on pasture to keep the life cycle of the sheep and
pastures in balance. In the grazing season our sheep's main
diet consists of pasture grasses. When ample pasture grass
is not available they are fed hay grown on our farm. We do
not feed sub-therapeutic anti-biotics, however, if an animal
is ever sick or injured and an anti-biotic is necessary to
ensure the animals health we will use them. We would never
hold back the use of an anti-biotic if the animals quality of
life would be adversely affected. We NEVER use growth
hormones, period.We sell lamb by the cut and whole lamb
and side of lamb.
